On December 19, 2025, the 3rd Parent Fund Development Conference and the Forum on Industrial Service Ecosystem Co-Construction in Central and Western China was held in Chengdu. Themed "Capital Empowering New Quality Productivity," the event brought together nearly 100 guests from government-guided parent fund management institutions, leading domestic parent funds, and top investment firms to discuss collaborative development pathways for the fund industry in central and western China.

It was revealed at the conference that Tianfu International Fund Town has channeled approximately 82.5 billion yuan in cumulative investments into Sichuan. Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on innovative "two-way empowerment" mechanisms between local parent funds and market-oriented GPs (fund management institutions collaborating with state-owned funds), addressing key challenges in their cooperation.

As Sichuan’s fund industry hub, Tianfu International Fund Town has attracted 520 financial institutions, with assets under management reaching 550 billion yuan. The town’s capital has funded 539 projects in Sichuan, totaling 82.5 billion yuan, of which 75.2 billion yuan was invested in Chengdu. Key sectors include electronics and information technology, advanced manufacturing, biomedicine, and cultural innovation.

During the conference, Tianfu International Fund Town, alongside China (Mianyang) Science City Sci-Tech Fund Cluster, Hunan Xiangjiang Fund Town, and Guizhou Guanshanhu Fund Town, jointly launched an initiative to build a cross-regional industrial service ecosystem in central and western China. The proposal includes creating a shared high-quality project pool and fostering regional synergy.

Moving forward, the parties will implement measures such as regular roadshows and customized services to realize these goals, fostering a robust development environment for the fund industry in the region.
