Mar 25

Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank (CQRC Bank) announced on 25 March 2026 that its Board has proposed a final ordinary dividend of RMB 1.1755 per 10 shares for the financial year ended 31 December 2025. Shareholder approval is still pending, and the default payout currency for H-share investors will be Hong Kong dollars, with the HKD amount and applicable exchange rate to be confirmed closer to the payment date.

The record date for entitlement is set for 15 June 2026, while the dividend is scheduled to be distributed on 27 July 2026. Holders of H-shares will not have a partial currency election option; dividends will be paid either in HKD by default or in RMB for those who so elect once the final exchange rate is announced.

Withholding tax rates will vary by shareholder classification: • Non-resident enterprise shareholders: 10% withholding. • Non-resident individual shareholders: 10% standard rate, rising to 20% for residents of jurisdictions without a double-tax treaty with China. • Southbound Trading investors (Shanghai-Hong Kong and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect): 20% individual income tax will be withheld. Mainland enterprise investors through Stock Connect will settle any enterprise income tax themselves; dividends held for at least 12 consecutive months qualify for exemption.

Details regarding the closing dates for share transfers, ex-dividend date, and shareholders’ meeting will be released in subsequent announcements.
