NBS: China's Industrial Coal Output Drops 0.5% YoY to 430 Million Tons in November

China's industrial coal production remained stable in November, while crude oil output accelerated and natural gas maintained steady growth, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

**Coal, Crude Oil, and Natural Gas Production** - **Coal**: Output from large-scale industrial enterprises totaled 430 million tons in November, down 0.5% year-on-year (YoY), with daily production averaging 14.23 million tons. Cumulative output from January to November reached 4.4 billion tons, up 1.4% YoY. - **Crude Oil**: Production rose 2.2% YoY to 17.63 million tons in November, accelerating by 0.9 percentage points from October. Daily output averaged 588,000 tons. Cumulative output for the first 11 months grew 1.7% YoY to 198.25 million tons. - **Oil Processing**: Refinery throughput increased 3.9% YoY to 60.83 million tons in November, averaging 2.028 million tons per day. Cumulative processing volume for January–November rose 4.0% YoY to 675.07 million tons. - **Natural Gas**: Output climbed 5.7% YoY to 21.9 billion cubic meters in November, with daily production at 730 million cubic meters. Total output for the 11-month period grew 6.3% YoY to 238.9 billion cubic meters.

**Electricity Production** Large-scale industrial power generation rose 2.7% YoY to 779.2 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in November, averaging 25.97 billion kWh daily. Cumulative output for January–November increased 2.4% YoY to 8.8567 trillion kWh.

By energy source: - **Thermal Power**: Fell 4.2% YoY in November, reversing October’s 7.3% growth. - **Hydropower**: Expanded 17.1% YoY, though growth slowed by 11.1 percentage points from October. - **Nuclear Power**: Rose 4.7% YoY, accelerating by 0.5 percentage points. - **Wind Power**: Jumped 22.0% YoY, rebounding from an 11.9% decline in October. - **Solar Power**: Surged 23.4% YoY, with growth speeding up by 17.5 percentage points.
