The Luzhou Regulatory Branch of the National Financial Regulatory Administration has issued approvals for the opening of 130 branches of Luzhou Rural Commercial Bank, including its Luxian sub-branch, marking a significant expansion of the bank's operational footprint.
These newly approved branches have been authorized to conduct business as approved by banking and insurance regulatory authorities or other licensed institutions, and as delegated by their superior bodies.
In parallel, the bank has received regulatory approval to change its registered address and amend its articles of association, alongside a substantial capital increase.
The bank’s registered capital will rise by 2,622,073,804 yuan, from 1,363,522,360 yuan to a new total of 3,985,596,164 yuan, reflecting a robust boost to its financial base.
Additionally, regulators have greenlit Luzhou Laojiao Group Co., Ltd. to subscribe for 111,100,000 new shares in the bank.
Following this transaction, Luzhou Laojiao Group will hold a total of 199,376,961.45 shares, representing a 5.0024% stake in the institution.
Similarly, Luzhou Xinglu Asset Management Co., Ltd. has been permitted to subscribe for 199,300,000 shares, after which it will hold a 5.0005% ownership position in the bank.
On the personnel front, the regulatory branch has also approved Zheng Xiao's qualification to serve as a director and vice president of Luzhou Rural Commercial Bank, adding new leadership to its management team.
