7月15日，瑞典电信设备制造商爱立信周二公布，受北美销售增长和成本削减的推动，第二季度调整后利润超出预期。扣除重组费用后的营业利润为70亿克朗(约合7.285亿美元)，而上年同期亏损119亿克朗，分析师此前预期为61亿克朗。
爱立信首席执行官Borje Ekholm在一份声明中表示：“我们已经从结构上降低了成本基础，并致力于进一步提高效率。”
该公司表示，美洲业务部门的销售额增长了 10%，这得益于其最大市场北美的良好增长态势。
爱立信表示：“在北美，得益于之前赢得的合同，网络和云软件及服务的销售额有所增长。”
集团销售额下降6%至561亿克朗，低于分析师预期的593亿克朗。不过，有机销售额增长了2%。
爱立信表示，关税抑制了其网络部门的利润率增长。
爱立信表示，由于关税变动和宏观经济环境，公司未来的前景仍面临较大的不确定性。
