BASICSEMI Buys Back 35,000 H Shares for HKD 1.50 Million; Outstanding Share Count Slips 0.012%

BASiC Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (“BASICSEMI”) disclosed a share repurchase of 35,000 H shares on 25 September 2026. The on-market purchases were executed at prices ranging between HKD 41.68 and HKD 43.00 per share, resulting in a volume-weighted average repurchase cost of HKD 42.81 per share and an aggregate cash outlay of HKD 1.50 million.

Following the transaction: • Issued shares (excluding treasury shares) decreased to 287.42 million from 287.45 million, a reduction of 0.012%. • Treasury shares rose to 114,800 from 79,800. • Total issued shares remained unchanged at 287.53 million, as repurchased shares are being held in treasury.

The buy-back was carried out under the general mandate approved on 28 August 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 28.75 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now total 114,800 shares, equivalent to 0.04% of the share count at the mandate date. A moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares is in effect until 25 October 2026, in line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules.
