Zhejiang Taimei Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (TAIMEI TECH) disclosed that on 7 July 2026 it bought back 913,800 H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, paying between HKD 5.95 and HKD 6.66 per share. The volume-weighted average price was HKD 6.3593, bringing the cash outlay to HKD 5.81 million.
The repurchase lowered the number of issued shares in public hands from 199.21 million to 198.30 million, a 0.46% reduction, while treasury shares rose from 1.38 million to 2.30 million. Total issued shares, including treasury stock, remained unchanged at 200.59 million. All repurchased shares are being held as treasury shares and have not been cancelled.
The transaction forms part of a buyback mandate approved on 23 June 2026 that authorises repurchases of up to 20.02 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 1.87 million shares, representing 0.94% of the company’s issued share capital on the mandate date.
In line with Hong Kong listing rules, TAIMEI TECH is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 6 August 2026. The company confirmed that the repurchase complied with all relevant regulatory requirements.
