Starting from midnight on October 1st and lasting until midnight on October 7th, passenger vehicles with seven seats or fewer will continue to enjoy waived tolls on all toll roads across the country, as announced by Li Yang, Vice Minister of Transport, during a press conference held by the State Council Information Office today.

This measure, which applies during the major holiday period, ensures that eligible car owners can travel freely without incurring highway charges, supporting smoother and more cost-effective journeys for millions of holidaymakers nationwide.

The policy remains consistent with previous implementations, reaffirming the government's commitment to facilitating family reunions and leisure travel during peak festive seasons, while easing the financial burden on motorists using the national road network.
