Five Local Enterprises Receive Provincial Recognition

Five companies from the city have been selected for the 2025 Zhejiang Provincial Future Factory and Smart Factory lists. Vinda Paper (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. was recognized as a Future Factory, becoming the first in the province's paper manufacturing sector to receive this designation. Additionally, four other local enterprises were included in the provincial Smart Factory list. This brings the city's total number of provincial-level Future Factories to five and Smart Factories to 30.

Located in Longyou County, Vinda Paper (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of household paper products with a comprehensive product range. The company's Future Factory project involved a total investment of 1.81 billion yuan, covers an area of 345 acres, and utilizes world-class papermaking technology with an annual designed production capacity of 150,000 tons. The factory focuses on digitalization and green manufacturing, integrating advanced papermaking processes with large-scale intelligent production equipment. It extensively applies new-generation information technologies such as the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence to enhance all operational aspects, aiming to set a new benchmark for the national household paper industry.

The four newly added provincial Smart Factories are Zhejiang Kaifeng New Material Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Times Lithium Materials Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Quhua Fluorochemistry Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Jinhua New Material Co., Ltd.

Since Juhua Group Co., Ltd. became the city's first provincial Future Factory in 2021, subsequent recipients have included Daido New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Tianji Instrument Transformer Co., Ltd., Quzhou Jidian New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and now Vinda Paper (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd.

Under the city's "Big Science and Innovation" policy, newly recognized provincial Future Factories receive a one-time reward of 2 million yuan, while newly recognized provincial Smart Factories receive 500,000 yuan. Furthermore, hardware and software for eligible digital transformation projects are subsidized at 15% and 30% of the investment amount, respectively.

A relevant official from the Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology stated that the city will continue to strengthen policy incentives and refine the cultivation system for enterprise digital transformation. Precise services and policy-based financial support will be provided to companies willing to undertake digital upgrades, accelerating the digital transition for more enterprises and fostering new forces for the implementation of the city's "Strong Industrial City, Thriving Industries" strategy.
