Prudential plc (02378) reported that the number of issued ordinary shares stood at approximately 2.54 billion on 12 February 2026. On 13 February 2026, about 0.34 million shares were repurchased and cancelled at a price of GBP 11.73, bringing the issued share count to around 2.54 billion.

In addition, 0.57 million shares were repurchased on 12 February 2026 at GBP 11.16 and 0.61 million shares on 13 February 2026 at GBP 10.61. These shares have yet to be cancelled.

According to the repurchase report, 0.61 million shares were acquired on the London Stock Exchange on 13 February 2026, at prices ranging from GBP 10.37 to GBP 10.87, for a total of GBP 6.50 million. The share repurchase mandate authorized on 14 May 2025 covered up to 262.67 million shares, of which 68.11 million shares have been repurchased to date, representing 2.62% of the issued shares at the time of the mandate. A moratorium period on any new share issuance or sale of treasury shares is in effect until 15 March 2026.
