That same day, a netizen posted a video claiming that a conflict occurred near two stores on the mall's basement level, Hema Fresh and Holiland, with people in uniforms arguing and pushing at the scene, and the related video attracted attention.

Sina Tech called Foshan MixC World, and a staff member said that regarding this matter, the company has a strict spokesperson system and that the relevant staff member would call back later.

Hema customer service said that during the opening of the two stores there were many people on site and both had promotional activities, so when guiding foot traffic and maintaining order it was easy for crowds to bunch together, which led to some chaos at the scene.

Holiland customer service said the situation had been recorded and would be reported to the local side for verification.

Some netizens at the scene said it was simply that there were too many people on opening day and barriers needed to be used to separate them, but one side felt its foot traffic and position were being taken, and in the end the two sides clashed.
