On October 7, Guangdong Wannianqing Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. issued a statement regarding false online information that infringes on the reputation of the company and related personnel.

Recently, content circulating on some online platforms claimed that "the passenger involved in the cabin conflict on China Eastern flight MU6741 on September 28 is Mr. Ou Xiantao, Chairman of Guangdong Wannianqing Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.," which sparked widespread attention and discussion.

Upon verification, the company found that the content is seriously inconsistent with the facts. Mr. Ou Xiantao and other company employees never took that flight. The information is a malicious fabrication with no factual basis whatsoever and constitutes an infringement on the personal reputation of the company's chairman and the company's business credibility.

In response to the aforementioned infringing acts, Mr. Ou Xiantao has reported the matter to public security authorities and the case has been accepted. The company has simultaneously carried out evidence preservation and retention work regarding the relevant disseminated content.

The company will pursue all legal liabilities against those who spread rumors and maliciously disseminate false information in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

The company solemnly reminds the general public: please remain rational and prudent when facing online information, and do not easily believe or forward unverified content. Information about the company should be based on designated information disclosure media and official release channels. This statement is hereby made.

On September 30, "China Eastern flight attendant kneels down to apologize" trended on social media, sparking heated discussion. Posts claimed that on a flight from Hefei to Dalian, a flight attendant bumped a passenger's elbow while pushing a meal cart and apologized, but the passenger remained dissatisfied and demanded "either let me kick you" and other requests. The flight attendant then cried and knelt down. Security personnel subsequently intervened, and the passenger also demanded that the purser and the flight attendant accompany him to the hospital for examination after work.

On September 30, China Eastern responded to the "flight attendant kowtows to apologize after bumping into man" incident: the passenger was asleep on the plane and became emotional after being touched by the meal cart, using vulgar and excessive language and threatening to kick the flight attendant; the flight attendant involved has returned to normal work.

On October 3, China Eastern issued another notice regarding the "flight attendant kneels down to seek passenger's forgiveness" incident: the relevant behavior of passenger Ou so-and-so is suspected of disrupting order within a civil aircraft and seriously infringing on the personal dignity and performance rights of the company's employees. The company has filed a police report.
