On October 12, according to the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and National Supervisory Commission's discipline inspection and supervision group stationed at China Life, and the Shanxi Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervisory Commission: Recently, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and National Supervisory Commission's discipline inspection and supervision group stationed at China Life, together with the Linfen Municipal Supervisory Commission of Shanxi Province, conducted disciplinary review and supervisory investigation into the serious violations of discipline and law by Liu Anlin, former Party Secretary and President of China Life Property Insurance Company Limited.
The investigation found that Liu Anlin, as a Party member and leading cadre of a state-owned financial enterprise, lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, showed weak political awareness, failed to effectively implement major policy decisions of the Party Central Committee, caused significant losses through irregular operations, failed to fulfill his primary responsibility for comprehensive strict Party governance, had incorrect views on political achievements, and seriously damaged the political ecology of his organization. He ignored the spirit of the Central Committee's Eight-Point Regulations, repeatedly and over long periods accepted gifts from others in violation of regulations, used official vehicles inappropriately, and accepted banquets that could influence the fair execution of official duties. He violated organizational principles, repeatedly promoted cadres in violation of regulations, and used his position and influence to help multiple relatives and friends obtain employment. He abandoned ethical boundaries, illegally held shares in non-listed companies, privately occupied public property, distributed bonuses in violation of regulations, and extensively squandered company assets. He was seriously irresponsible in his work, failed to fulfill his duties regarding entrusted investment projects, causing serious consequences. His personal life was corrupt and degenerate, affecting the image of public officials. He disrupted the socialist market economic order and illegally purchased affordable housing. Without any regard for discipline and law, he abused his power, "relied on insurance to profit from insurance," used his position to embezzle public property, sought benefits for others, and illegally accepted money and goods.
Liu Anlin seriously violated the Party's political discipline, organizational discipline, integrity discipline, work discipline, and life discipline, constituted serious职务违法 and was suspected of crimes including corruption and bribery. Even after the 18th Party Congress, he still did not restrain himself, stop, or realize his mistakes. His conduct was serious in nature with extremely bad influence and should be severely dealt with. According to relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervisory Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Administrative Sanctions Law for Public Officials of the People's Republic of China," and other related regulations, after research by the Party Committee of China Life Insurance (Group) Company, it was decided to expel Liu Anlin from the Party and cancel his benefits according to regulations. His illegal gains from violations of discipline and law were confiscated. The suspected criminal issues were transferred by the Linfen Municipal Supervisory Commission of Shanxi Province to the procuratorial authorities for legal review and prosecution, with all related property transferred accordingly.
On March 22, 2024, the website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and National Supervisory Commission disclosed that Liu Anlin, former Party Secretary and President of China Life Property Insurance Company Limited, was under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation.
Liu Anlin was the third president of China Life Property Insurance. He stepped down in August 2022 at the age of 59. According to public information, Liu Anlin was born in 1963 and is a senior engineer. He graduated from Lanzhou University's Department of Mathematics and Mechanics with a Bachelor's degree in Computational Mathematics in 1985 and enjoyed special government allowances from the State Council. His work experience was entirely within the China Life system, with extensive experience covering information technology, life insurance, overseas business, property insurance, and other fields.
