South Korea's Samsung Electronics Short ETF Announces 20-for-1 Unit Consolidation, Effective July 3

The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited has issued a notice regarding a unit consolidation for the Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (HKEX: 07347) short exchange-traded fund managed by CSOP Asset Management.

According to an announcement from CSOP Asset Management dated June 10, 2026, every 20 existing units of the product will be consolidated into one new unit, effective July 3, 2026.

The board lot size for trading will also change from 100 existing units to 5 new consolidated units, with the first trading day for the consolidated units on the exchange set for July 3, 2026.

To facilitate participants, holdings of the fund's units within the Central Clearing and Settlement System, along with unsettled continuous net settlement amounts and allocated trades under the stock code 7347, will be automatically converted.

As part of this process, the clearing house will also convert all outstanding settlement instructions, investor settlement instructions, and securities lending balances for the existing units recorded under stock code 7347 into records for the new consolidated units under the same code on the evening of July 2, 2026.
