NEW HIGHER EDU (02001) Reports Annual Results: Net Profit Attributable to Shareholders Rises 9.67% YoY to RMB829 Million

NEW HIGHER EDU (02001) announced its annual results for the fiscal year ended August 31, 2025. The group recorded revenue of RMB2.599 billion, representing a 7.78% year-on-year increase. Net profit attributable to shareholders rose 9.67% YoY to RMB829 million, with basic earnings per share of RMB0.49.

The company highlighted that graduate employment quality and rates remained high. As of December 31, 2024, the final employment placement rate for the 2024 graduating cohort reached 98.03%, marking the fifth consecutive year above 95%. By August 31, 2025, the initial employment placement rate for the 2025 graduates stood at 98.22%, up 3.13 percentage points year-on-year, with high-quality employment accounting for 53.94% of placements. Notably, employment at top-tier enterprises surged by 110.32%.

For the 2025/2026 academic year, total student enrollment across the group's institutions reached approximately 133,000, with undergraduate enrollment continuing to rise. The number of new undergraduate students increased by 3.9% YoY, while the proportion of undergraduate students in total enrollment grew by 4.5 percentage points.

Additionally, the group expanded its cross-provincial student recruitment, with multiple institutions reporting higher minimum admission scores, reflecting strengthened brand competitiveness and steady progress in its high-quality development strategy.
