Nasdaq Extends Declines to 1% as 10-Year U.S. Treasury Yield Rises to 5.04%, the Highest Level Since 2007

U.S. equities continued to fall on Wednesday as 10-year U.S. Treasury yield rose to 5.04%, the highest level since 2007.

The S&P 500 dropped 0.53%, while the Nasdaq Composite dipped 1%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 59.74 points, or 0.12%.

Big techs fell. Intel, Alphabet down nearly 3%; Amazon, Broadcom, Oracle, AMD down around 2%.
