Yum China Holdings, Inc. (Yum China) reported that 70,097 ordinary shares repurchased in the U.S. on 5 June 2026 were cancelled on 8 June, reducing its issued share capital by 0.02% to 347.62 million shares.
On 8 June, the company executed two further buy-back transactions: • New York Stock Exchange (NYSE): 70,278 shares repurchased at between US$42.48 and US$43.07 per share, for a total consideration of US$3.00 million. • Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX): 23,100 shares repurchased at between HK$331.60 and HK$338.80 per share, costing HK$7.74 million.
All 93,378 shares bought on 8 June are earmarked for cancellation, subject to settlement.
Including earlier purchases made on both exchanges between 13 March and 8 June that have not yet been cancelled, Yum China now holds 1.62 million shares pending cancellation—equivalent to approximately 0.47% of its current outstanding share count.
Under the repurchase mandate approved on 28 May 2026—which authorises the company to buy back up to 34.66 million shares—Yum China has so far repurchased 740,937 shares, representing 0.21% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date.
