此次增持使泰佩思琦在凤凰基因的股份近乎翻四倍，突显其深化合作的决心。双方的合作渊源可追溯至2022年，当时推出了针对Z世代的Coachtopia产品线。该系列商品采用凤凰基因供应的回收皮革纤维制成，其中至少50%原料来源于废物转化。泰佩思琦首席财务官兼首席运营官Scott Roe强调，Coachtopia是洞察年轻消费者支出习惯的重要窗口。“它虽非营收主力，但为我们理解这一关键人群的价值观提供了宝贵洞见，”Roe坦言。
凤凰基因估算，其材料的碳足迹比原生皮革低80%，彰显显著环保效益。作为投资协议的一部分，这家从欧洲制革厂采购废料的公司将向泰佩思琦持续供应回收皮革三年。凤凰基因首席执行官John Kennedy表达了与泰佩思琦旗下所有品牌深化合作的期待。
