CHINA STATE CON (03311) Reports Interim Results with Profit Attributable to Shareholders of RMB 5.259 Billion, Up 5.1% Year-on-Year

CHINA STATE CON (03311) announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2025. The group achieved revenue of RMB 56.643 billion, representing a 0.1% year-on-year increase. Profit attributable to company shareholders reached RMB 5.259 billion, up 5.1% compared to the same period last year. Basic earnings per share stood at 101.43 cents, with an interim dividend of 34 HK cents per share proposed.

As the Hong Kong government accelerates efforts to improve citizens' living conditions with continued rollout of public housing projects, the group actively participates in Hong Kong's public housing construction. It successfully won two projects in Kam Sheung Road, Yuen Long, New Territories, utilizing MiC technology to serve Hong Kong's livelihood needs faster and better. The Northern Metropolis development continues to advance, with the group securing projects including Phase 1 of Hung Shui Kiu Water Treatment Facilities, maintaining its leading position in Northern Metropolis construction. The group's existing projects deliver high-quality performance, earning high praise from clients.

Benefiting from Macau's vibrant tourism economy, the group secured multiple hotel renovation, refurbishment, and expansion projects. Meanwhile, the M8 Macau project, located in the core area of Macau's World Heritage Historic City, won the IPA International Property Awards Asia Pacific Best Retail Project Grand Award and other international accolades. The project has been featured multiple times by major media outlets, further enhancing brand reputation.

On mainland China, the group optimized its management approach, promoting integration of regional management for investment and construction technology businesses, further strengthening resource integration and business synergy. Since the beginning of the year, multiple business units with tens of billions in operations have driven regional expansion, with the customized model first implemented in cities including Dongguan and Jinan. The group also strengthened exchanges and cooperation to explore quality operational project investment opportunities. For existing projects, the group implements refined management to ensure construction proceeds according to schedule.

MiC technology continues to penetrate the mainland market, securing multiple projects including the comprehensive renovation of Beijing No. 14 Middle School and the Guangzhou Nansha resettlement housing project. The Guangzhou project successfully obtained floor area ratio incentives, becoming the first modular construction project nationwide to benefit from floor area ratio incentive policies.

The group's subsidiary, China Construction Xingye Group Limited (China Construction Xingye), consolidates its core curtain wall business in Hong Kong and Macau with advanced technology, excellent quality, and premium services, maintaining leading market share. Combined with demand from the existing curtain wall market in Hong Kong and Macau, it continues to develop curtain wall inspection, maintenance, and upgrade services, creating new business growth points. China Construction Xingye deepens resource synergy between Hong Kong, Macau, and the mainland, continuing to earn trust from Hong Kong-funded developers and new economy enterprises on the mainland, with steady improvement in contract quality.

The group actively expands into the Singapore market, establishing good cooperative relationships with major local clients. During the year, it won the Changi Airport Terminal 2 hotel project, which includes partial BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics), marking its first BIPV project in Singapore and potentially becoming Singapore's first net-zero energy hotel. BIPV represents a current development focus for China Construction Xingye. Beyond the Singapore project, the first half saw successful bidding for what is currently the largest single BIPV project in China - the Shenzhen Qianhai Huafa Ice and Snow World project. The company also signed a framework agreement with Kunshan Municipal Government to assist in building a green building demonstration city through BIPV technology.
