HUADIAN POWER (01071) announced its operational results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026. According to the consolidated financial statements prepared under Chinese Accounting Standards, the company and its subsidiaries generated a total of 59.02 million megawatt-hours of electricity during the period. This represents an increase of 14.85% compared to the previously announced figure for the same period last year. However, when compared to the restated data for the prior-year period, it reflects a decrease of approximately 8.39%. Electricity sold to the grid amounted to 55.37 million MWh, which is 15.32% higher than the previously reported year-earlier number but about 8.45% lower than the restated comparable data. The decline relative to the adjusted prior-year figures is primarily attributed to the continuous growth in renewable energy capacity and new installations displacing generation from existing power units. Based on preliminary calculations, the average on-grid electricity price for the group in the first quarter of 2026 was approximately RMB 504.28 per MWh, down roughly 2.58% from the restated price in the same period last year.
