Telix Pharmaceuticals Ltd (ASX: TLX) saw its shares plummet 5.11% during intraday trading on Wednesday. The sharp decline came amid heightened market activity for the biopharmaceutical company.

The stock movement follows the company's announcement that it successfully priced and upsized a convertible bond offering to $600 million. According to regulatory filings and company statements, Telix Pharmaceuticals commenced the offering of convertible notes due 2031, which was subsequently increased from an initial $550 million target due to strong investor demand.

Convertible bond offerings often lead to stock price pressure as investors weigh potential future dilution when the bonds are converted into ordinary shares. The initial conversion price was set at $13.85 per share, representing a premium of approximately 37.5% over the reference share price. The company also announced plans to concurrently repurchase and cancel more than 85% of its existing convertible bonds due 2029 as part of its capital management strategy.
