IDREAMSKY (01119) surged over 8% in afternoon trading. As of press time, the stock was up 7.56% to HK$1.28, with turnover reaching HK$58.283 million.
On the news front, IDREAMSKY will hold a board meeting on August 28 (next Thursday) to consider and approve its interim results. Huatai Securities previously noted that Tencent's gaming revenue accelerated growth in the second quarter, with "Delta Operation" becoming a top evergreen game. The firm expects "Delta Operation" to potentially achieve dual-platform revenue of 10-13 billion yuan in 2026.
According to public information, "Delta Operation" is a tactical shooting game jointly developed by Tencent's TiMi Studio Group's Linglong Tianshang team and IDREAMSKY, with exclusive distribution by Tencent.
Additionally, on July 29, IDREAMSKY announced that it had signed a capitalization agreement with PLR Worldwide Sales Limited, a subsidiary of European casual gaming giant Playrix. The latter will subscribe for approximately 38.08 million shares of IDREAMSKY at HK$1.024 per share, with a total investment of HK$39 million. Upon completion of the transaction, Playrix will hold approximately 2.11% of IDREAMSKY's shares.
Market participants believe that the company's acceptance of Playrix's investment may be paving the way for overseas distribution of "Gardenscapes."
