West Pharmaceutical Services' stock surged 9.33% in pre-market trading following the release of its first-quarter 2026 financial results.

The injectable solutions provider reported quarterly adjusted earnings per share of $2.13, significantly beating the consensus estimate of $1.68. Net sales for the quarter reached $844.9 million, also surpassing analyst expectations of $780 million. The company attributed this strong performance to organic growth in High-Value Product Components, increased sales of self-injection device platforms, and a successful production ramp-up in Europe.

Adding to investor optimism, West Pharmaceutical raised its full-year 2026 guidance. The company now expects adjusted EPS in the range of $8.40 to $8.75, up from its prior outlook of $7.85 to $8.20 and above the consensus estimate of $8.01. Full-year revenue guidance was also increased to $3.30 billion to $3.35 billion, compared to the previous range of $3.22 billion to $3.28 billion.
