On October 22, at 14:00, JD.com’s 001 National Good Car was officially auctioned on the JD auction platform. Within less than an hour, over 200,000 participants joined the auction, and the highest bid exceeded 25 million yuan.

On October 14, JD announced its collaboration with GAC Group and CATL to launch the National Good Car, focusing on user insights and sales channels without directly participating in manufacturing. The online reservation for the much-anticipated special edition of JD’s National Good Car 001 began at 16:00 on October 17, with a starting bid of 1 yuan, officially kicking off at 14:00 on October 22.

The auction page showed that just seconds after the auction began, the price reached 100,000 yuan, then jumped to over 800,000 within the next minute, exceeding 10 million yuan after 16 minutes. Reports indicate that the National Good Car recently revealed some core data: over 70% high-strength steel and mechanical semi-hidden door handles. In terms of performance, the vehicle’s curb weight is over 300 kg lighter than its competitors, with a track width wider by 45 mm and tire width exceeding by 10 mm; its moose test score surpassed 75 km/h.

By 14:50, over 1,100 participants had engaged in bidding, with 200,000 spectators and bids soaring to 25 million yuan. Users only need to pay a deposit of 100 yuan to participate in the auction. If they opt out of payment or cancel after payment, the deposit of 100 yuan will be forfeited.
