Jilin Province Reports 16.02% Increase in Electricity Consumption for January

In January, the total electricity consumption in Jilin Province reached 10.962 billion kilowatt-hours, marking a year-on-year increase of 16.02%. The province's total power generation amounted to 11.28 billion kilowatt-hours, up 8.81% compared to the same period last year. Crude oil production was 352,400 tons, a decrease of 3.92% year-on-year, while crude oil processing volume rose to 865,000 tons, up 5.49%. Natural gas production within the province totaled 160 million cubic meters, down 2.1% year-on-year. In contrast, natural gas transported via pipelines from outside the region reached 302 million cubic meters, increasing by 21.6%. Total natural gas consumption was 479 million cubic meters, growing 16.2% compared to the previous year. Coal production stood at 489,900 tons, declining 12.88% from a year earlier.
