On Friday, the three major US stock indices closed higher. The Hang Seng Index ADR also advanced, rising 425.62 points or 1.60% on a proportional basis to close at 26,985.57 points compared to its Hong Kong market close. Most major blue-chip stocks declined. HSBC Holdings closed at HKD 134.800, down 2.67% from its Hong Kong close. Tencent Holdings finished at HKD 547.500, a decrease of 1.97% from its Hong Kong closing price.
