Prudential plc reduces share capital through latest buyback

Prudential plc announced that it cancelled 254,334 ordinary shares on Nov, 10 2025, trimming its outstanding share count to 2,559,788,629.

The company also disclosed that a further 594,472 repurchased shares—313,355 bought on Nov, 7 2025 and 281,117 bought on Nov, 10 2025—remain pending cancellation. All shares were repurchased on the London Stock Exchange under the existing buy-back mandate approved on May, 14 2025.

Following the latest transactions, Prudential plc has repurchased an aggregate 47,240,720 shares under the mandate, representing about 1.81 % of its issued share capital as at the mandate date. The company is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares until Dec, 10 2025.
