On November 18, the 5th Park City Forum, themed "Park City—A More Vibrant and Happier Modern City for the People," opened in Chengdu. During the main forum, two major projects—the Western Aviation Investment (WAI) Southwest Science and Innovation Center and DreamWorks Animation's Southwest Headquarters—were signed and confirmed to settle in Chengdu High-Tech Zone, with a total agreed investment of 5 billion yuan.

Both projects align with Chengdu High-Tech Zone's key industrial focuses. The WAI Southwest Science and Innovation Center will be located in the Sino-Singapore Tianfu New Area Innovation Park, targeting commercial aerospace and low-altitude economy sectors. It aims to establish an integrated innovation platform covering R&D, pilot testing, industrialization, and operations.

DreamWorks Animation's Southwest Headquarters, invested by China Media Capital (CMC), a leading player in media and entertainment, will be based in Tianfu Changdao Digital Cultural and Creative Park. The project will focus on three core businesses: animation production, service outsourcing, and overseas distribution, building a full-process animation film industry chain within the group to continuously deliver original IP animated films.

During the forum's sub-sessions, Chengdu High-Tech Zone introduced a list of sci-tech achievement application scenarios, divided into two categories: scenario demands and scenario capabilities.

Scenario demands primarily address pain points in urban governance, industrial development, and public services, including 11 benchmark demands in AI, education, and healthcare, as well as 40 super-scenario demands in areas like Jiaozi Avenue, Sino-Singapore Tianfu New Area Innovation Park, and Chengdu Future Science City.

Scenario capabilities highlight innovative technologies and products from Chengdu High-Tech Zone enterprises, featuring 93 items such as smart parks, intelligent robotics, smart tourism, intelligent transportation, low-altitude economy, commercial aerospace, and quantum technology.
