AEON Stores (Hong Kong) Co., Limited (AEON Stores) announced on 7 May 2026 that the circular detailing its previously disclosed Warehouse Lease Agreement—classified as a major transaction—will not be dispatched by the original deadline of 7 May 2026.

According to the earlier announcement dated 15 April 2026, the Listing Rules required the circular to be distributed within 15 business days of that disclosure. AEON Stores now states that additional time is needed to finalise certain information to be included in the document. Consequently, the company has applied to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for a waiver from strict compliance with Rule 14.41(a) and requested an extension to dispatch the circular on or before 26 May 2026.

The board comprises Executive Directors Mr. Takenori Nagashima and Mr. Shinya Hisanaga; Non-executive Directors Mr. Toshiya Goto, Mr. Hiroyuki Inohara and Mr. Yasutoshi Yokochi; and Independent Non-executive Directors Mr. Hideto Mizuno, Ms. Shum Wing Ting and Ms. Wong Mei Ling.
