S&C周四宣布，目前共同管理Weil伦敦办公室的Avery-Gee将出任其欧洲并购业务联合主管，与巴黎的Olivier de Vilmorin搭档。而Flaherty则以合伙人身份加入，S&C在声明中如是表示。
这一变动紧随此前六位Weil合伙人——其中包括其顶尖交易撮合者——转投Cravath之后。华尔街日报本月早些时候曾报道此事。
顶级律所如今正面临多重压力。顶尖业务骨干频频被挖角，人工智能正逐渐构成威胁，而客户的忠诚度也大不如前。
Avery-Gee在欧洲法律界颇具知名度，曾参与多笔重磅交易，其中包括今年2月Advent与FedEx牵头对波兰包裹柜服务商InPost发起的总值逾90亿美元的收购要约。
Flaherty同样操作过多起交易，两人都曾为大宗商品巨头Glencore提供法律服务。
