According to reports, Typhoon "Bavi" is forecasted to make landfall between Wenling and Rui'an in Zhejiang province from the night of July 11th to the early morning of July 12th, continuing its northward path. Based on meteorological department forecasts and assessments by the Ministry of Natural Resources' Geological Hazard Technical Guidance Center, there is a very high risk of geological hazards occurring in northeastern Hebei and a high risk in southern Anhui.
Consequently, the Ministry of Natural Resources elevated the geological hazard defense response level for Hebei from Level IV to Level III at 17:00 on July 11th. An additional working group, led by a department-level official, has been dispatched to Hebei to provide guidance on geological hazard defense efforts.
Furthermore, at 18:00 on July 11th, the Ministry initiated a Level IV geological hazard defense response for Anhui province.
