A ceremony for a charitable donation to support education was held on July 10th at Zhamaishi Township Boarding Ethnic Primary School in Qilian County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. The event was organized by the Provincial Committee for Caring for the Next Generation and CITIC BANK.

Ma Jixiao, the Executive Deputy Director of the Provincial Committee, attended and delivered a speech. Also present were Deputy Director Su Ning, along with representatives from CITIC BANK and its Xining branch, the Provincial Party Committee's Bureau for Retired Cadres, and the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. Approximately 160 people, including staff from relevant units, teachers, and students, participated in the activity.

In recent years, the Provincial Committee, relying on the Provincial Caring for the Next Generation Foundation, has actively expanded fundraising channels and gathered support from various caring parties. It has consistently carried out care and assistance actions for disadvantaged youth across the province.

CITIC BANK and its Xining branch have responded actively, consciously integrating corporate development into national development strategies and the broader context of local development. They have continued to deepen their commitment to public welfare, particularly in youth care and educational support, taking concrete actions to foster the healthy growth of young people.

This initiative involved a special donation of 300,000 yuan to Zhamaishi Township Boarding Ethnic Primary School. The funds are intended to improve teaching conditions and logistical support equipment in remote farming and pastoral area schools, and to purchase school supplies and winter clothing for the students.

During the event, leaders from the Provincial Committee fully affirmed the dedication of CITIC BANK and its Xining branch in caring for the next generation. They expressed hope that the bank would continue to give back to society as it grows and develops. The officials also encouraged the school and its teachers to enhance teaching management and the quality of education, nurturing a new generation of youth who are self-respecting, confident, self-reliant, and strong. Students were urged to remember this warm care and to repay society and serve the nation with outstanding academic achievements and steadfast actions.
