CMB Cigna Announces Leadership Transition: CEO Chang Ying Steps Down, Liu Jun Appointed Interim Head

On March 25, CMB Cigna issued an announcement stating that, following a review and approval at the company's fourth interim session of the eighth board of directors, General Manager and CEO Chang Ying has been approved to resign from her position. Liu Jun has been appointed as the interim head of the company.
According to her resume, Liu Jun earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Wuhan University and a Master of Science in International Marketing Management from the Business School of the University of Leeds in the UK. From September 1995 to September 2000, Liu Jun worked as a current affairs and economic news reporter and editor at Shenzhen Television. Between September 2000 and July 2001, she pursued a full-time master's degree in the UK. From November 2002 to January 2024, Liu Jun was employed at CM BANK, where she held several key positions, including Assistant General Manager and Deputy General Manager of the Wealth Management Department at the headquarters, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and a member of the council at the Credit Card Center, and Deputy Director of the Training Center. During her tenure at CM BANK, Liu Jun gained in-depth knowledge of the insurance business and has a successful track record of integrating insurance services with retail banking operations. In February 2024, she joined CMB Cigna as President of the Bancassurance Division and was appointed Deputy General Manager of the company starting in April 2024.
