BabyBus Co., Ltd.'s subsidiary has been fined 300,000 yuan by the Fuzhou Cangshan District Market Supervision and Administration Bureau for displaying vulgar advertisements contrary to positive social values in its children's apps. The penalty also includes the confiscation of illegal gains totaling 3.68 yuan.

According to administrative penalty details, on March 17, 2025, BabyBus signed a Mobile Advertising Alliance Membership Service Agreement with a Shenzhen-based information technology company, integrating its mobile app advertising inventory via SDK into the MiMeng advertising network. During the operation of the "BabyBus Children's Songs" app, a platform for children's audio and video content, BabyBus staff failed to promptly review ad content pushed by its partner. This negligence resulted in a text and image advertisement with the title "Three Women Serving One Husband, 500,000 Yuan Monthly Allowance, Two Days Off Rotating Weekly" being displayed directly on the app's splash screen.

In October 2025, users reported that splash screen ads in BabyBus children's apps featured suggestive content, were easy to accidentally click leading to inappropriate pages, and even triggered automatic downloads of unrelated software. Following the incident, many parents protested. BabyBus issued an apology and pledged to implement corrective measures.
