据悉，Cipher Mining宣布计划发行8亿美元2031年到期的可转换债券，用于为数据中心建设等项目提供资金。这一大规模融资计划可能引发了投资者对公司未来财务状况和股权稀释的担忧，从而导致股价下跌。
值得注意的是，就在此次融资公告之前，Cipher Mining曾宣布与人工智能云平台Fluidstack达成一项为期10年、合同收入近30亿美元的数据中心交易。根据协议，Cipher Mining将在2026年9月前提供168兆瓦的电力。此外，谷歌母公司Alphabet将为Fluidstack的14亿美元租赁义务提供支持，并获得购买约2,400万股Cipher Mining股份的认股权证，约占公司5.4%的股份。这一消息此前曾推动Cipher Mining股价盘前一度上涨超过20%。然而，新的融资计划似乎抵消了这一利好效应。
