CHINA BOTON repurchases 0.84 million shares for HKD 2.26 million, trimming free float by 0.08%

China Boton Group Company Limited (CHINA BOTON) reported a fresh buyback on 08 July 2026, according to its Next Day Disclosure Return filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

On-market repurchase details • Volume: 836,000 ordinary shares • Price range: HKD 2.60 – HKD 2.78 per share • Volume-weighted average price: HKD 2.70469 • Aggregate consideration: approximately HKD 2.26 million

Capital structure impact • Shares in issue (excluding treasury) fell to 1,070.42 million from 1,071.26 million. • Treasury stock rose to 10.09 million shares, up from 9.26 million. • The buyback represents 0.078% of the pre-transaction outstanding shares. • Total issued shares remained unchanged at 1,080.51 million, as the repurchased shares are held in treasury.

Repurchase authority and restrictions • The purchase was made under the general mandate approved on 22 May 2026, which permits buybacks of up to 108.05 million shares. To date, 0.84 million shares (0.08% of the authorised limit) have been repurchased. • In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, CHINA BOTON is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 07 August 2026.

Regulatory confirmation The company affirmed that the transaction was duly authorised by the board and executed in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and the Hong Kong Listing Rules.
