In the week leading up to the Lunar New Year, holiday shopping has entered a peak period. On February 7 and 8, Dingdong (Cayman) Limited held an offline New Year market event titled "Dingdong Steps Up with Great Goods" at Beijing's Huaxi Live Wukesong. The event showcased over a hundred varieties of special Spring Festival products from Dingdong, and also featured interactive activities such as photo opportunities, archery, and free tastings of hot pot and dumplings.
Song Jili, North China Merchandise Development Director at Dingdong (Cayman) Limited, stated that the platform has made available more than a thousand New Year products in Beijing sourced from across China and around the world. These offerings cater to diverse scenarios including reunion dinner dishes, gift boxes for visiting relatives and friends, and leisure afternoon tea. In addition, Dingdong has specially introduced "emotional value items" designed to capture the sense of ritual that young people seek during the holiday season.
This year marks the ninth consecutive year that Dingdong (Cayman) Limited has maintained operations during the Spring Festival holiday. More than 70% of its frontline full-time employees nationwide will remain at their posts to ensure stable supply and timely delivery throughout the holiday period, supporting families in celebrating reunion with peace of mind.
