On March 15, a traveler at Harbin West Station's waiting hall expressed high praise after participating in Harbin Bank's 2026 "3·15" financial consumer rights protection education campaign, stating, "Learning practical anti-fraud knowledge while waiting for a train—this approach is relatable and highly effective!" That day, under the theme "Clearing the Financial Network, Safeguarding Peaceful Consumption," Harbin Bank moved its financial knowledge classroom into the railway station, allowing passengers to easily "unlock" new anti-fraud skills during their waiting time and strengthen their financial security defenses. This event, part of the 2026 Heilongjiang Province banking sector's "3·15" financial consumer rights protection education series, was guided by the National Financial Regulatory Administration Heilongjiang Bureau, the People's Bank of China Heilongjiang Branch, the Heilongjiang Banking Association, and the Harbin Public Security Bureau's Anti-Fraud Center, with special attendance from the Heilongjiang High People's Court. Organized by Harbin Bank, the event saw participation from over 60 representatives from eight banking institutions across the city. The atmosphere was lively, attracting numerous passing travelers to stop, experience, and engage actively. Under the guidance of regulatory authorities and industry associations, Harbin Bank will collaborate with financial institutions across the province to diligently fulfill its responsibility for protecting financial consumers' rights and vigorously promote a financial culture with Chinese characteristics. Focusing on financial network misconduct, the bank will enhance risk warnings and knowledge dissemination, making financial information more dynamic and accessible to the public. Through initiatives like "Clearing the Financial Network," the bank aims to safeguard "peaceful consumption" and build a robust barrier for the financial security of consumers. To make financial knowledge more engaging and digestible, Harbin Bank innovated its presentation methods, creating educational and entertaining consumer protection experiences. Bank employees performed self-written anti-fraud talk shows such as "The Many Twists of Scams" and "Amateur Victim, Professional Anti-Fraud," using humorous language to expose fraudulent tactics. Original songs and rap performances like "It's a Scam" and "The Anti-Fraud Battle Song" vividly depicted common financial scams, including "pig-butchering" schemes and high-interest investment traps. The event also featured humanoid robots providing fun dance accompaniment, blending technology with entertainment and helping the audience better understand and remember financial fraud prevention tips in a relaxed atmosphere. On-site, Harbin Bank staff distributed over 1,500 financial consumer education brochures and leaflets, gifted nearly 1,200 customized promotional items, and offered one-on-one professional financial consultations to address public inquiries regarding financial consumption and risk prevention. These practical measures ensured that financial consumer protection knowledge was not only "heard" and "enjoyed" but also "taken away" and "applied," effectively enhancing the public's awareness of financial risks and self-protection capabilities, and achieving outstanding financial education outcomes.
