Musk Criticizes MacKenzie Scott Again in Social Media Post

Elon Musk has once again targeted philanthropist MacKenzie Scott, ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, in a social media post, referring to her as "the face you see before Western civilization collapses."

The comment came in response to a user's post stating, "If you look at the crumbling policies destroying blue cities, it's directly tied to the rapidly growing nonprofit-industrial complex." This refers to various U.S. nonprofits that Scott has heavily funded.

Another user remarked, "This woman is almost single-handedly destroying the country, yet you barely hear a whisper about her because she's not Jewish." Musk replied, "The face you see before Western civilization collapses."

In March 2024, Musk had previously criticized Scott on X after reports revealed that since her divorce from Bezos, she had donated $16.5 billion—mostly to nonprofits addressing racial and gender equity issues.

One X user at the time commented, "Who is Bezos’ ex-wife giving money to? According to her foundation’s website, over half of the organizations she’s donated to are involved in race and/or gender issues. Her fund should be called the AWFL (Affluent White Female Liberal) Fund. It’s the ultimate expression of America’s worst group."

Musk responded, calling her a "super-wealthy ex-wife who hates her ex-husband" and suggested she should be listed among "reasons Western civilization is dying." However, he later deleted the post.
