Meitu Buys Back 2.75 Million Shares for HKD 9.89 Million, Lifts Treasury Stock to 73.45 Million

Meitu, Inc. executed an on-market repurchase of 2.75 million ordinary shares on 8 October 2026, paying between HKD 3.59 and HKD 3.605 per share for an aggregate consideration of HKD 9.89 million. The shares, equivalent to 0.06% of Meitu’s outstanding share capital, will be retained as treasury stock rather than cancelled.

Following the transaction, Meitu’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell to 4.51408 billion shares from 4.51683 billion, while treasury shares climbed to 73.45 million. Total issued shares, inclusive of treasury holdings, remain unchanged at 4.58753 billion.

The buy-back forms part of the repurchase mandate approved on 5 June 2026, which authorises the company to reacquire up to 454.86 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 35.92 million shares, representing 0.79% of Meitu’s issued shares on the mandate date.

In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange regulations, Meitu is subject to a moratorium on issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 7 November 2026.
