Mongolian Mining Corporation (MMC) disclosed that it repurchased 300,000 ordinary shares on 2 October 2026 through on-market transactions at Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) 8.49–8.58 per share. The purchase cost HKD 2.56 million, equivalent to 0.03 % of the company’s outstanding shares.
Including this latest tranche, MMC has bought back 15.50 million shares since shareholders approved a 103.42 million-share mandate on 21 May 2026. The accumulated volume represents 1.50 % of shares in issue at the mandate date, leaving capacity for a further 87.92 million shares under the current authority.
Over the six trading days from 23 September to 2 October 2026, the company executed repurchases totaling 3.15 million shares that are awaiting cancellation, equal to 0.31 % of the 1.03 billion shares outstanding. As at 2 October 2026, MMC’s issued share capital remains unchanged at 1.03 billion shares, with no treasury shares on the balance sheet.
Under Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, MMC is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares, or selling or transferring treasury shares, until 1 November 2026.
