美国西南航空（LUV）今日盘前大跌5.07%，主要原因是公司公布的第二季度财报未达分析师预期，并大幅下调了2025年全年利润预期。
根据西南航空发布的财报，公司第二季度营收为72.4亿美元，同比下滑1.5%，略低于市场预期的73亿美元。净利润为2.13亿美元，同比大幅下滑42%。调整后每股收益为43美分，低于分析师预期的53美分。此外，公司还将2025年息税前利润（EBIT）预期从年初的17亿美元大幅下调至6亿至8亿美元，预计经济动荡将吞噬高达10亿美元的年度税前利润。
西南航空表示，造成业绩下滑的主要原因是航空旅行需求疲软。公司新推出的基础经济舱产品表现不及预期，选择高价票的乘客数量少于预期，导致不得不加大机票折扣力度。尽管如此，公司仍对未来保持谨慎乐观，称近期趋势已显改善迹象，并预计第三季度每可用座位英里的营收将在-2%至2%之间浮动。此外，西南航空董事会还批准了一项20亿美元的股票回购计划，预计在两年内完成，以提振投资者信心。
