阿斯利康将向 Summit Therapeutics 投资 20 亿美元，合作开发癌症药物

Summit Therapeutics（SMMT）周一表示，英国制药公司阿斯利康（AstraZeneca，AZN）将向该公司投资 20 亿美元，并合作开展一系列研究，测试双方的癌症治疗药物联合使用的效果。

该消息公布后，Summit 股价在盘后交易中上涨超过 17%。

  • 阿斯利康将购买 Summit 的优先股，对应普通股每股价格为 18.36 美元，较 Summit 周一 15.48 美元的收盘价高出 18.6%。

  • 此次投资体现了阿斯利康对 ivonescimab（依沃西单抗）这一下一代癌症治疗药物的高度信心。Summit 此前从Akeso（康方生物，9926.HK）获得了该药物的授权。

  • Ivonescimab 的作用机制是同时阻断 PD-1 和 VEGF。其中，PD-1 是癌细胞帮助自己逃避免疫系统攻击的机制之一；而 VEGF 则被肿瘤用于促进血管生长。通过同时阻断这两种机制，该药物能够帮助免疫系统更好地发现并攻击癌细胞。

  • 作为此次合作的一部分，两家公司还将启动临床试验，研究将 ivonescimab 与阿斯利康现有的癌症治疗药物联合使用的效果。

  • 双方还签署了一项初步协议，探索将 ivonescimab 与阿斯利康其他几种药物联合测试的可能性，其中包括抗体偶联药物（ADC）。ADC 是一类能够将杀死癌细胞的药物直接递送至肿瘤细胞的治疗方法。

  • 预计该交易将在本周结束前完成。
