J&T EXPRESS Adds 1.69 Million Shares to Treasury Through HK$16.33 Million On-Market Buyback

J&T Global Express Limited (J&T EXPRESS), a weighted-voting-rights issuer listed in Hong Kong, disclosed that it repurchased 1.69 million Class B WVR ordinary shares on 8 September 2026. The transaction was executed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong at prices ranging between HK$9.605 and HK$9.655 per share, with a volume-weighted average of HK$9.6398, for a total consideration of HK$16.33 million.

Following the buyback, J&T EXPRESS’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) fell from 8.659 billion to 8.658 billion, while treasury shares increased from 17.15 million to 18.85 million. The repurchased shares—representing 0.0196% of the company’s previously issued share capital—have been retained as treasury stock; none were cancelled.

The purchase was conducted under the general mandate approved by shareholders on 25 June 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 967.47 million shares. Cumulative buybacks under this mandate now total 45.64 million shares, equivalent to 0.47% of the issued share base on the mandate date, leaving approximately 921.82 million shares still available for repurchase.

Under Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, J&T EXPRESS is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 8 October 2026—30 days after the latest repurchase.
