Sources say Anthropic PBC has agreed a $9.1 bln deal with cloud-compute provider Riot Platforms.
Riot, which has begun selling AI data-center capacity, disclosed on Monday a 20-year agreement to supply 191 MW from its Rockdale, Texas campus; sources identified the counterparty as Anthropic.
Riot's stock price surged more than 26% at one point in overnight trading.
