A significant shareholder of Tianqi Lithium (09696) moved shares valued at HK$522 million from Merrill Lynch Far East Limited to Citibank on February 13, representing a 5.24% stake. The transaction follows the company's recent announcement that all conditions under the amended and restructured placement agreement had been fulfilled, with the placement completed on February 11. Under the agreement, the placement agent successfully allocated a total of 65.05 million shares to no fewer than six placees at HK$45.05 per share. The estimated net proceeds per share are approximately HK$44.95.
