AIM VACCINE (06660) saw its shares rise more than 5%. At the time of writing, the stock was up 5.17% to HK$3.05, with a turnover of HK$9.4029 million.
On the news front, on March 30, the board of AIM VACCINE approved a proposal to issue no more than 40 million additional domestic shares, representing approximately 3.2611% of the total issued shares prior to this issuance. The company plans to list these domestic shares on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations system and further apply for an initial public offering on the Beijing Stock Exchange.
Public information shows that AIM VACCINE has a pipeline of 20 vaccines under development and holds 24 clinical approvals. The company is steadily advancing its product line layout.
In January this year, the company's globally first-developed serum-free next-generation rabies vaccine successfully passed both the on-site inspection for drug clinical trials and the on-site inspection for drug registration and production. Currently, no serum-free rabies vaccine is approved for market use globally. Upon its launch, this product is expected to fill a market gap.
Additionally, several other major products, including the 23-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide vaccine and a new high-titer human diploid cell rabies vaccine utilizing a novel production process, are also nearing their harvest period.
