"Everyone, today's Tieguanyin tea—buy one can, get one free!" Recently, in the shared livestreaming room of the "Employment Service Station at Your Doorstep" located within the "Party Building+" neighborhood center of Jinyue Community in Cannei Town, Anxi County, 33-year-old Lin Xiaoyan skillfully promoted her products to the mobile phone camera. Next door, in the "Yuecheng Study Hall," her 7-year-old son was quietly doing his homework.

Just a few months ago, Lin Xiaoyan was worried about household expenses. Now, with the community's help in finding employment, she sells 300 kilograms of tea monthly, generating revenue exceeding ten thousand yuan, and has also helped four neighboring stay-at-home moms find part-time work, each increasing their monthly income by an average of 3,500 yuan.

Lin Xiaoyan's transformation is a vivid example of Jinyue Community's precise approach to solving employment challenges for stay-at-home moms. Comprising four commercial-residential complexes and the Chakewang Park area, Jinyue Community is home to 3,308 newly relocated households, 80 percent of which are young parents who moved to the city to accompany their children's schooling. Many mothers face the dilemma of being tied to their children's schedules and struggling to find work that allows them to stay close to home.

In the second half of 2025, focusing on addressing the pressing concerns of residents, the community integrated entrepreneurial and employment needs into the construction of the "Party Building+" neighborhood center. They repurposed and meticulously renovated a 200-square-meter space, establishing functional areas including a shared livestreaming room, a product selection exhibition hall, and a packing and distribution center, creating a one-stop service system. Ye Meimei, the Community Party Branch Secretary, explained that the shared livestreaming room is equipped with high-definition cameras, professional microphones, fill lights, and other gear to create a professional broadcasting environment. The product selection hall centrally displays local specialty products like Anxi Tieguanyin tea for easy on-camera presentation. The packing and distribution center is outfitted with professional tools and materials and works closely with logistics companies to achieve efficient "order-from-livestream, ship-immediately" connectivity.

Many stay-at-home moms lack livestreaming experience. The community collaborated with the county e-commerce association and livestreaming experts from Chakewang to form an e-commerce volunteer team, offering free training courses on short video production, warehouse management, and shipping logistics. To date, 18 training sessions have been conducted, successfully nurturing 268 "mom trainees."

"My first livestream only had nine neighbors showing up for support; my palms were sweaty," Lin Xiaoyan recalled vividly of her beginnings. Fortunately, the e-commerce volunteer team arranged one-on-one coaching for her, breaking down every detail from tripod placement angles to the ideal water temperature for brewing tea. As her skills improved, her livestream performance steadily increased. Now, Lin Xiaoyan has signed exclusive sales agreements with three tea factories and has even enlisted neighbors to handle packing and after-sales service, forming a small entrepreneurial team.

One person influences a circle, and a circle influences a wider area. Ye Meimei noted that the service station has already cultivated 18 "independent streamers," helping 82 people achieve flexible employment with monthly income increases ranging from 2,800 to 6,500 yuan. The community plans to expand with eight additional shared livestreaming rooms and introduce guidance from university media teachers and students stationed onsite, aiming to create a mixed "youth + mom" livestreaming matrix. Simultaneously, in partnership with the county rural commercial bank, they have launched a "Mom Entrepreneurship Loan" to inject financial support into these ventures, paving a wider path for fulfilling employment opportunities right at their doorstep.
