Fourth Loan Disbursed: Ukraine Receives 4.05 Billion Euros in EU Aid

On August 22nd local time, the European Union announced the disbursement of 4.05 billion euros to Ukraine, comprising 3.05 billion euros through the Ukraine Facility mechanism and 1 billion euros through the European Commission's special Macro-Financial Assistance (MFA).

Ukrainian Prime Minister Sviridenko confirmed the news on official social media platforms. Sviridenko stated that this assistance both strengthens Ukraine's national budget and advances the country's reconstruction process.

European Commission President von der Leyen said that the EU has sent a clear message that its solidarity with Ukraine remains unwavering. This new funding underscores the EU's commitment to Ukraine's recovery, noting that "when Ukraine is strong, Europe will be stronger too."
