An analyst from Daishin Securities stated that SK Hynix is on track to achieve record-breaking profits in 2026. The forecast indicates that the operating profit of the South Korean memory chip manufacturer will nearly quadruple this year, reaching 174 trillion won (approximately $120.4 billion), surpassing the previous estimate of 142 trillion won. The analyst projects that by 2026, the average selling prices for the company's general-purpose DRAM and NAND products—the two main categories of memory chips—are expected to surge by 159% and 91%, respectively. It was further noted that by the end of 2026, the company is anticipated to maintain its position as a leading global supplier of high-bandwidth memory (HBM), a premium segment of the DRAM market.
